Game Hollywood’s hit RPG Eternal Fury has just received its biggest update of the year. Patch 3.5.2 is officially online and introduces airships, city lords, monster sieges, democracy, great gameplay features, and most special of all – a brand new map board: Neoland.

The Story So Far in Eternal Fury

Despite the completion of internal unification, the Human Alliance still faces a grave threat from the monster hordes. Seeking to find the truth behind these beasts, knights, berserkers, magicians, priests, archers and rangers set out to consult the guidance of the oracle.

But with the rainbow bridge to Asgard broken, instead they opt to seek knowledge from Jotunheim and the Titans – the enemies of the gods – that inhabit there. And that means venturing into the unknown region of Neoland. Will the risky maneuver successfully expand the sphere of the human empire or will it all backfire?

New Features in Patch 3.5.2

Neoland

Together, players will work to save materials to build up glorious cities in Neoland. They shouldn’t neglect city defenses in the building process though because they can later expect it to have to withstand brutal monster assaults.

The Airship

What better way to travel to unexplored realms but by airship? The journey itself takes five minutes and departs every half an hour. Airships leave on the hour every hour and at half past every hour, with the 10 minutes preceding departure time allocated as preparation time.

While airships might seem like an idyllic way to travel, the journey to Neoland certainly won’t be smooth sailing. If players fail to best the monster attack on the way to Neoland, then they’ll be shipped straight back to their embarkation point.

City Lords & City Lord Elections

One of the coolest new features to have arrived in Eternal Fury is the ability to establish one’s own city and then run for the esteemed position of City Lord. Firstly, players must become Town Hall Officers whereby they can make donations and participate in the rudimentary democratic process.

After elections are held, the elected City Lord officially gains his title, access to power quests, and the ability to manage the city’s internal affairs and construction operations.

The perks and functions of the city lord are as follows:

1)Selecting which buildings to upgrade and how;

2)Automatic re-election if no player candidate runs against them in the next election;

3)And the ability to participate in the election as the previous City Lord without affecting limitations on the number of applicants.

Adding new NPCs will help to accumulate Contribution which can then be exchanged for city upgrade materials.

These huge genre-bending changes to Eternal Fury are already causing a lot of excitement and the developers are excited to evolve these new features as well as the Titan forces and monster siege events.
