The game has a chat function. Some chats are available under certain conditions. Here is an overview of the different chats.

All: Here you can see all the chat messages that come through that you are able to see at the time.

World: Here you can only see your servers World Chat messages. No other messages will be shown when in this section.

Party: This chat is only available for the members of your party when you are in one. This includes players that join your party that are from other servers. No other messages will be shown when in this section.

Guild: This chat is only available when you are in a guild. Only players that are in the same guild as you are able to read or write in this chat. No other messages will be shown when in this section.

Zone: When you are in a certain area you can message all players in that area. No other messages will be shown when in this section.

System: Only system messages are shown here.

To open up a special window for chat click the small chatbox icon next to the System chat.
