You need black diamonds which can be obtained by selling crops in the trade center 

You can sell other items there as well but the easiest way is to sell and plant crops or harvest them when your herbalist living skill is high enough 

Once you have enough black diamonds just go to the "home trade" cart in your homestead then choose a trade, click buy all then start
